Incredible ideas since 1999

Our founder, Paul Lewis, left his corporate life at a FTSE company to combine his love of music and audio electronics, founding one of the very first smart-home-technology companies, IDEAS in 1999 in Henley on Thames.

Quickly his company became the bespoke smart-home technology partner to Harrods leading us to specify and deliver some of the most advanced whole-house technology solutions in Europe and across the world.

By the early 2000s IDEAS became a regular contributor to Channel 4’s Grand Designs, BBC TV homes shows and projects for Discovery TV.

Today we act as a project management company providing our clients with world-class turnkey integrated solution from the right suppliers. Paul today splits his time between Nice Côte d’Azur, Copenhagen and Wales, managing design and engineering and providing the personal sign off for every project.

We design recording studios, pro-audio solutions and multi-room audiovisual solutions across Europe focussing on just a handful of discerning private clients who refuse to compromise.
